Ingredients
Apple Filling - Toss together.
6 peeled, thinly sliced apple - soft, old, bruised apples work great in this!
2 tbsp, granulated sugar
2 tsp, cinnamon
1 tsp, vanilla
1 tsp, lemon juice or use what you have and substitute for cranberry juice!
Crisp - Combine and cut-in cold butter until pats are pea sized.
1 cup, brown sugar
1 cup, rolled oats
1/2 cup, flour
1/2 cup, cold butter cubes
1 tsp, kosher salt
1 tsp cinnamon (opt)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°C. In an 8” baking dish, place your apples at the bottom with your crisp on top.
Bake uncovered, for 45 - 50 minutes, rotating half way through for even browning.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, surrounded by family and celebrate another school year complete with small, happy moments accompanied by big bites.
