A fool-proof, easy clean-up way to evenly cook your bacon.
On a medium sized sheet pan, place parchment paper or foil to fit.
Lay bacon flat, in a row, without overlapping the pieces.
Place in cold oven.
Turn oven on to preheat at 400°C.
Let the bacon cook in the oven while it preheats.
When the temperature reaches 400°C, turn your oven off.
Leaving your bacon in the oven, let it cook for an additional 10 minutes using the residual heat.
The result is an evenly cooked bacon ready for any breakfast, sandwich or meal prep your heart desires.
For additional flavour: brush mustard and sprinkle brown sugar on the bacon before it goes in the oven.
